The following is the fee schedule for Mediator, Larry S. Pivacek, Esquire. The fee schedule for all categories (Family, Circuit Civil, Civil Probate and County Court) of cases is as follows:
Standard Mediation Rate
The Mediator's hourly rate is $75.00 per party / per hour unless otherwise specified by the mediator.
Minimum Fee Charged
Generally no minimum fee is charged by the mediator. The parties only pay for each hour actually used in mediation.
Travel Fee
Generally, no travel fee is charged by this mediator.
Cancelation Fee
The mediator reserves the right to charge a cancelation fee for any mediation canceled with fourteen (14) days of the scheduled mediation. The cancelation fee, if exercised by the mediator, will be identified in the confirmation letter.
Collections
If the person who owes payment does not make payment within thirty (30) days of the date of written request for payment the person who owes payment will be assessed a $5.00 per month late fee penalty plus any charges for postage. Should the mediator be required to enforce payment by filing and prosecuting an action at law and in court then the mediator shall be entitled to his reasonable hourly attorney fees ($350.00 per hour) plus court costs.
